Director: Chuck Hodson
The school administration deemed the flags with swastikas on them too inappropriate for a high-school setting, so they weren't allowed to be used at home football games.
Mr. Hodson received a phone call from the Anti-Defimation League (ADL) in Washington DC asking him about the use of things representing the Nazi rule of Germany (e.g., Nazi officer uniforms and swastikas). Hodson explained that the show was just meant to be a historical representation of events during WWII and not in any way meant to glorify the Nazi party. To this, the ADL approved.
At state finals, some band directors boycotted Reeths-Puffer's performance and had their bands sit outside the Silver Dome until the show was over.
